Chris Gallina organized a trip to Hope Hill Lavender Farm in Pottsville on July 2nd. The group began the day with breakfast at Cracker Barrel before arriving at Hope Hill Lavender Farm for a guided tour. The shaded pavilion along with the air conditioned farm store and complimentary lavender lemonade provided welcomed coolness in the heat of the day. The next stop was Way-Har Farm Market for ice cream and finally on to a pop-up tour of member Lorraine Kunkel's garden.  Thank you Chris for arranging an enjoyable day!

PGC members and friends enjoyed a wonderful bus trip on June 3rd arranged by Christine Gallina. The group first toured Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses in Mechanicsburg, followed by a guided trolley tour through the iconic town of Hershey PA!. The group then enjoyed a beautiful tour of the fragrant roses at the Hershey Gardens and Butterfly atrium and finally relaxed over dinner at Funck's in Palmyra. Many thanks to Chris for arranging a fabulous trip!

Chris Gallina arranged a carpool greenhouse hop to Lancaster county locations on April 15th. Chris, Cedella Schenck, Karly Lazo, Gina Costello and Gail Micca spent a beautiful Spring day collecting bargains for the growing season. The group visited Reiff's Farm Market & Greenhouse, Kramer Mill Greenhouse, Creekview Flower Shed and Black Creek Greenhouse. In between  stops they enjoyed a relaxing lunch break at Shady Maple in East Earl.

PGC members and guests enjoyed a bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show on March 3rd. The trip was arranged by Trip Chair Christine Gallina.
