"Sowing the Seeds of Harmony through Nature"

PGC helps to beautify the planting beds at the all-volunteer Tri-Clover Fire Company's fire station on Kernsville Road in Orefield.
Gail Micca did a beautiful job shopping for annuals at Ross Plants & Flowers for the fire house. She concentrated on red and yellow for under the firehouse sign and red, white and blue for the bed under the flagpole. Maria Dax helped organize additional volunteers including Carol & Barry Nagle and Ann Kemmerer. Gail was fortunate to get additional help from Lisa Walton, who is scheduled to give a presentation at our next meeting on roses. Fire Chief Val Strock was very pleased with the photos that we sent.

Fire Chief Val Strock of the all volunteer Tri-Clover Fire Company reached out to the Parkland GC for help with their garden beds. Members went on April 22nd, Earth Day, to weed the area, edge the beds and cut back some of the dead perennial branches. The members will be adding mulch and then planting flowering annuals and perennials. The club will plant red, white and blue annuals in honor of the 250th anniversary of our country. All plants and mulch will be supplied by the fire company. Many thanks to Gail, Maria, Karen, Larry, Marlene (and husband Mark) and Ann for their work on Earth Day at the Fire company. We appreciate any members that can lend a hand in the future.
