Bus Trip to Winterthur Museum and Longwood Gardens on Thursday, December 8, 2022

We will have a short guided tour in the Winterhur Museum and Mansion in Winterthur, Delaware. There will be time to enjoy the "Jacqueline Kennedy and H.F. Dupont: From Winterthur to the White House" exhibition in the main gallery. Through artifacts, archives, and images, this exhibition will invite visitors to experience the behind-the-scenes collaboration between the two during this captivating period in American History.

You may have lunch at their cafe or bring your own lunch. Next the bus will take us to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square.Take time to enjoy the Conservatory decorated for the holidays, outdoor gardens and lighting displays

At 8:30 am -The bus will leave Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield PA 18069 

 At 2:00 pm- The bus departs Winterthur Museum

At 6:15 pm-  Be back at the bus.

At 6:30 pm-The bus departs Longwood Gardens for home.

Field Trip to House of Lilies on July 19, 2022

We will  carpool and  meet at House of Lilies at 11:00. Tour will about 1 hour. We will have lunch at Morgan's around 12:15-12:30.

Visiting Dave Culp's Garden in the Brandywine Valley on June 20, 2022

We will carpool to visit Dave Culp's garden. It is located in the Brandywine Valley, 1158 Osbourne Rd., Dowington PA 19335. Cost is $10 per person. 

 

Field Trip to "Of The Woods " Hydrangea and Peony Farm on Tuesday, June 7, 2022

The program will start at 10 am. We will either meet there or carpool. The farm is located at180 Gun Club Road, Barto . There will be an array of hydrangeas and peonies to purchase.  Afterward the program, lunch on your own at Buckeye Tavern. Wear comfortable shoes.
